SPORTS ASSOCIATION FEROZEPUR (SAF) IA
ROLE: CHAIRMAN
Sports Association Ferozepur (SAF) is a joint effort to bring together all sports associations in an organized form. SAF aims at:
- Promoting Sports in Ferozepur
- Training Young budding talents to become professional athletes.
- Providing top-notch coaching from the best sportsperson
- Spreading awareness about participation in Sports and Benefits given by Government to the Sportsperson who represent the State at National and International Level.
- Provide World Class Infrastructure to the players.
- Provide Funding support to the Institutions.
HOCKEY FEROZEPUR ASSOCIATION (HFA)
ROLE: PRESIDENT
Formation of HFA is an organized effort to bring back attention to hockey again as the National Game. The association focuses on identifying talented hockey players, providing them with training and coaching, equipping them with world-class infrastructure, organizing games and encouraging their participation in State, National and International Competitions.
PUNJAB TENNIS ASSOCIATION, CHANDIGARH
ROLE : PRESIDENT
PTA was initiated with participation of only four children and since then, there has been no looking back. Each year the number of participants has grown exponentially. We are proud to say that PTA, Chandigarh has been able to produce champions at the National level, State level and international level. The association aims to train and coach aspiring tennis players, provide a world class infrastructure, organize games, inform and encourage aspirant’s participation in State National and International Competitions.
PUNJAB ROLLER SKATING ASSOCIATION (PRSA), PATIALA
ROLE: VICE PRESIDENT
The PRSA aims at encouraging children’s participation in Roller Skating and establishing it as a popular sport among the local people. Since its establishment, PRSA has seen a remarkable a tremendous increase in the number of children enrolling for this sport.
ASIAN YOGA FEDERATION
ROLE: VICE PRESIDENT
Yoga has a significant role to play in the healthy growth of body and mind, especially in this modern age of mounting stress and strain. Because of its manifold benefits, yoga is gaining worldwide recognition. But to give impetus to any program, some platform is required. Therefore, for the preservation and expansion of Yoga, the great ancient culture, art and indigenous sport of glorious India, an organization was required to be constituted at Asian Level. In view of the realization of that aim, the Asian Yoga Federation came into existence.
Yoga Association Ferozepur (YAF)
ROLE: PRESIDENT
Yoga, like any other science, is constantly evolving. It is now practiced across the globe by millions of people. The benefits of Yoga can be seen in all walks of life ,be it health promotion, disease prevention, education, sports, management of lifestyle, etc. Under the projects and initiatives launched by the Union Government to promote Yoga worldwide, YAF has helped the district administration to implement government schemes and organize events for promoting Yoga in the city.

District Taekwondo Association, Ferozepur
ROLE: PRESIDENT
DTA is a promise to promote and revive the ancient form of martial arts. In addition to the promotion of Taekwondo, DTA is also an effort to promote fitness, strength, self – discipline and self-defense among its members and the local community.
Cycling Association of Ferozepur
ROLE: PRESIDENT
Being an environmentalist himself, Dr Anirudh Gupta believes in the use of cycle as a mode of transport to combat pollution and cycling as a way to remain fit. This is also a great medium to decongest the city. CAS, Ferozepur is an attempt to introduce Cycling as a sport and also as an important mode of transport among the locals. To encourage people to take up cycling and enjoy its benefits, several cycling competitions have been organized at the district level
