The DCM Group of Schools was established more than seventy five years ago by Late Sh. MR Dass, a renowned academician and the Founder of the DCM Society; with a dream to transform the Educational map of the nation. It was started in the year 1946 with the foundation of Decent Children Modern School. Decent Children Modern School was the first English Medium School in the Malwa belt of Punjab, which was based on modern line of education with most of its faculty drawn from Europe. Thus, began the journey of this organization which slowly expanded its horizon and metamorphosed into the DCM Group of Schools.
ROLE: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dr. Anirudh Gupta steered this reputed institution with a vision of achieving International Standard for the DCM Group of Schools. He has created world class progressive schools to provide quality education to the children of this small town Ferozepur near to the International Indo-Pak Border. His efforts to innovate and transform the learning outcomes in the students, have changed the deep – rooted mind sets of traditional pedagogies and curriculum designing of the Indian educational perspective steered DCM Group of Schools to become ‘’Citadels of Learning’’ and harbingers of “Quality Consciousness’. All institutions under the aegis of this society have carved a niche for themselves amidst the comity of the best educational institutions in the country. Each School has developed into an avant-garde autonomous institution, with proficient school management, outstanding Principals coupled with flawless school administration and a sound academic ecosystem.
Under his leadership, DCM Group of Schools expanded their horizons in both Punjab and Haryana and has seven branches under its name. DCM Group of Schools has been conferred with several prestigious awards including the National Award of Excellence in Education, The best chain of Schools in Indian Award by ASSOCHAM (India) etc. It has been recognized as the Best Group of Schools in North India by the Indian Education Congress for two consecutive years 2014 & 2015. DCM Schools were also felicitated by Hon Minister Ms. Smriti Irani, former MHRD, Sh Parkash Singh Badal, Former Chief Minister (Punjab) an Ms.Sheila Dikshit , Former Chief Minister (Delhi) with appreciation letters for excellent contribution in the field of education . The Independent Schools Federation of India has honored DCM Schools for their significant contribution towards the enhancement of quality school education in India.

ROLE: PRESIDENT
Founded by Dr Anirudh Gupta in the year 2005, GEA is an alliance of established stakes holders, policy makers, educationists from around the world. The members convene to engage in brainstorming sessions and discussions on various aspects. Their focus is to deep dive into ways that can make education more purposeful, need based, and child centric and aligned with 21st century educational requirements.
INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL FOR SCHOOL LEADERSHIP (ICSL)
ROLE: BOARD MEMBER
The International Council for School Leadership (ICSL) is a pan-India platform for convergence of school leaders ICSL aims to peer learning and interactions with experts to enhance school leadership skills. ICSL aims to create a pan-India network of like – minded professional school Leaders. They organize events, workshops, focus groups, and training programs specifically designed to cater to the needs of the school leaders.
NATIONAL INDEPENDENT SCHOOL ALLIANCE (NISA)
ROLE: ADVISOR
The National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA) is a platform that brings together budget private Schools (BPS) from across the country and gives them a unified voice to address concerns about legislations and bye-laws that apply to them. Currently, NISA represents over 36,400 schools, from 20 state associations, which cater to the needs of 9.35 million children at an average of 250 children per school as well a systemic level change is what NISA is striving for.
CBSE SAHODYA SCHOOL COMPLEX, FEROZEPUR
ROLE: CHAIRMAN
In 1987, CBSE brought out a publication titled, “Freedom to Learn and Freedom to Grow through Sahodya School Complexes’’ (SSCs) which characterized “ SSCs” as a voluntary association of schools in a given area , who through mutual choices , have agreed to come together for a systematic and system – wide renewal of the total education process.
Through positive promotional efforts, the board has helped schools come together and form an interactive association. At present, there are 260 such active complexes throughout the country, which share and care for each other; particularly those which are in close physical proximity.
MAHARAJA BHUPINDER SINGH PUNJAB SPORTS UNIVERSITY

ISFI is a body of school promoters and principals, which organizes events, trainings, symposiums. This body takes up relevant matters pertaining to regulatory aspect with the Govt. affiliated bodies.
