ASTANA AULIYA HAZRAT BABA SHERSHANWALI POLICE PUBLIC WELFARE TRUST
Dr Anirudh Gupta as a Member Trustee of the Welfare Trust, ensures that the funds offered to the Dargah are utilized for public welfare. As a trustee, he diligently verifies that the accounts of offerings at Dargah are maintained with utmost regularity and integrity. Astana Auliya Hazrat Baba Sher Shah Wali is revered in the entire region as a source of hope and panacea. The dargah was offered huge amount of gold and cash until 1991, when the then SSP Mohammad Mustafa, appointed local prominent citizens as the trustees to oversee this wealth and legacy. This measure by the SSP brought the funds to the welfare of public through community programs and is also channelized via institutions, such as funding of the hockey academy which is run solely by the money of the trust.
SANATAN DHARAM SABHA, FEROZEPUR
As a lifelong member of Sanatan Dharam Sabha (Ferozepur), Dr Anirudh Gupta works for the welfare of the society and the local community. He ensures that the Sabha’s money goes for the wellbeing of the needy and the wealth offered to the temple and its trust is judiciously used for public welfare, including organizing medical camps for the physically disabled, funding the education of the less privileged and implementing various welfare programs administered by the Sabha.
